Recipe: skinny peanut butter brownies

We are always looking for new healthy recipes. On one of our strolls through ‘the internet’ we stumbled across this recipe for skinny peanut butter brownies and we just couldn’t keep this to ourselves. So run to the supermarket because these bad boys only take 15 minutes of prep time (excl. 35 minutes of baking time)!


  • Mixer
  • Spatula
  • Oven
  • Baking paper
  • Pot
  • Oven tin


  • 100 gr extra dark chocolade
  • 100 gr margarine
  • 100 ml semi skimmed milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 10 gr sweetener (not sugar)
  • 1 knifetip salt
  • 100 gr whole wheat flower
  • 3 tbs cocoa
  • 100 gr 100% peanut butter
  • 3 el peanuts


  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (C). In the meantime chop up the chocolate.
  • Melt the chocolate together with the milk and margarine au-bain marie. Take off the heat when the mixture is smooth and let cool.
  • In 5 minutes whisk the eggs and the sweetener to a smooth mixture.
  • Use a spatula to mix the eggs and chocolate. Add the salt, cocoa and flower.
  • Put baking paper in your oven tin and fill with the mixture. Add the peanutbutter and use a skewer to spread it through the peanut butter in nice lines. Chop up the peanuts and spread them over the mixture.
  • Bake the brownies in 35 minutes. Let cool completely before cutting into pieces.
